In April 2016 I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. I was 38 years old, fit, healthy, and enjoying life. This was a massive blow to both me and my family.
After two surgeries and six months of chemotherapy I am on the other side, working hard to live a cancer free life.
During the last 2 years Bowel Cancer NZ has provided me with so much information and knowledge it is now my turn to give back.
In May 2018 I will be running in the St Clair Half Marathon in Blenheim, raising funds for Bowel Cancer NZ.
I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of Bowel Cancer New Zealand and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon 2018. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Bowel Cancer New Zealand, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
